Mostly a business delivery area
Downtown is where Atlanta works rather than where most of it lives. The bulk of what we deliver here goes to offices, hotels, government buildings and the Georgia State campus, which makes timing the single most important detail of the order.
- Send before early afternoon. Downtown empties after business hours and an evening delivery sits until the next morning
- Office towers have a mailroom or reception that signs for everything — the courier will not reach a desk
- For hotels we need the guest’s full name as it appears on the reservation
- Friday deliveries are safer earlier in the day than late
Events and conventions
Downtown hosts a constant stream of conferences and events. Flowers sent to a convention venue need the name of the event and the booth or room, not just the building — a courier standing in a convention hall with a bouquet and no room number has nowhere to go.

Access is the slow part of a Downtown delivery, not the distance. We build that into the schedule, which is why Downtown orders are dispatched earlier than suburban ones even though the drive is shorter.
